Birthday Overload!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Two very special chillings TRANSFORMED!! Our crazy current baby girl (Emma.) and the extremely slick second-oldest (Tal).

I love this picture - it shows a) how TAN Tal is! and b) how they really are - Tal's basketball jersey, Emma's pioneer dress and apron with semi-curled hair (she runs out in the middle of my beautician business..UGH!!). These two kiddos took a giant leap! Tal got his Arrow of Light (post for another time), and Emma just got closer to being a TEENAGER. Wow, that sounded scary! Sorry, Mom, I know that's just a little too much for you. I mean, she's only five! I didn't get a birthday pic on my Mom's camera, but I have mine here so here's a little preview about Emma:

-she won't back down unless she gets things done HER way

-if she doesn't get things her way...she just throws a GIANT fit until you give it to her.

we couldn't exactly find any other theme, so we stuck with the whole gangster thing. Tal was pretty psyched about it :) it was a great cake --chocolate, of course-- and Tal enjoyed the day.

The DS was pricey, so he didn't get too many other presesnts, but had a great day and we're glad he's one year older! AGAIN--another boy almost a teenager!! Just wait!!

Happy Sunday!

I'd like to comment on the approving Sunday afternoon we recieved today. We went to church, which is almost always set in stone, then came home and prepared a lovely meal that we would be sharing with our beloved Lamb family.

You may or may not already have the pleasure of knowing this, but once every month the McGhie's get together and are served delightfully at Kristen and Roberts. Everyone prepares a course of food and everyone picks and grabs at whatever may be in sight. Yum!

So, since a small portion of the Arizona-skinned Lambs transfered to Utah, we decided to bring up this tradition. Today was the first day of business.

Mitch and Nicole brought their adorable curly-haired daughters, Arden and Susan, along with great food, as well as Steve and Ali, with cousins Dallin, Audrey, and Camryn. We gathered our rally and brought over our portion. Suzanne and Scott hosted our little family affair, while Tal and Ethan partied hard with Max, Sam, and Dallin. Emma was ecstatic to play with Rachel and Arden! No worries, Suzy! You will soon have a cute new baby cousin to play with! ;)

For me, food was one of the best parts. A tasty main course of delicious meat, and pressure cooked mashed potatoes to start off left me begging for more! Alongside and very fine-looking spinach salad coated with scrumptious Brianna's poppyseed dressing, and strawberry salad drowned in marshmallows and all those yummy unhealthy things ;) Suzanne's incredible rolls made the meal as tasty as can be, with Grandpa's all-famous Crystal Light 'n' Sprite drink, courtesy to Steve and Ali.

To finish off the meal we were served ice cream cake that tasted so good! I warned Ali that next time I come to her house, she better have some prepared for me! ;)

I love family get-togethers - they really highlight my week! Well, I have no school tomorow! I love you all!

Party Party

This weekend has been quite the party. It started at a very high level at eight in the morning when Dad filled his little gold vehicle with two suitcases and chucked the boys in the car. After the moment the car was out of sight, the party took an ulimate high. Mom spent the afternooning cleaning, running errands, and all her usual motherly business while I tracked off to school. The day passed quickly, and I returned home on that wonderful Thursday afternoon, ready to kick it off.

First stop - Kneaders Bakery. The deluctable, Paradise-almost bakery very nearby at the closest Smith's Marketplace. The sun was setting, and we were one of the only ones there. I was excited to order a creamy agio soup dish (something like that), with a side of homeade potato chips, and an unforgettable Club sandwhich that my mother graciously shared with me. In the end, I caved into my immediate sugar obsession and got an eclaire. De-lish!

Next day, I slept in, went to school, and returned home calling and texting at full speed. My phone was acting up a little bit (keep that in mind for later!) but suddenly a party was announced and I grabbed my bathing suit and my friends Kaitlyn and MaKayla and I met up at the Peppermint Place, where shortly after, we walked to my house. We bought my friend Hannah a party gift and then booted off to her place. After going swimming and messing around, I dropped my phone. It was nothing serious, but it broke! Oh well, we're not to tell the Verizon people about this.

Next day, my mom and I planned an excellent GDO (Girls *Day* Out) where we decided to go see Confessions of a Shopaholic.. Review below!

I loved this movie - one of my top five! It was extremely clean, no bad language, and it had a very important, understandable, meaning to it. Through finance and importance of happiness. It found the deepest corners of reality and matched them up to realize what people with this kind of stuff are. When you see kids in clothes you can never afford, it tells and proves that they might not be able to afford them either. They just go and buy. It talks about expenses and saving and earning, but in a cute and clean-cut way. I loved it. I am going to buy it, and I recommend it to all those who would like a cute, funny, clean, laugh.

After seeing the movie, we ditched the theatre and ran to fix my phone. I was crossing my fingers that they would not find water damage (there was not supposed to be any though), or they would not return the phone free of charge. Luckily, I got the same phone free, without a single scratch, and we're lucky to be alive ;)

Happy Birthday, Lewis Ethan!

To celebrate being Seven on October 5th (tomorrow), Ethan and his cousins, Sam and Jon, partied hard at Jump-On-It along with Tal and Max. The Rose boys, the Lambs, and Jon Neeleman are three great kiddos! Afterwards, they hit McDonalds and... well, just see for yourself.

FINALLY TEN!! We got this double-digit boy on camera! Happy birthday, Tal! It's awesome to see you at a final destination (hopfeully Mom doesn't "make his stop growing"...that's embarrassing!)
Tal on his new underwater skateboard - despite the fact that both Tal and I have Ripstiks and won't be needing this (yes, we both got Ripstiks - mine is red like Audrey's and Tal's is blue like....Tals??). Anyway, it's called a Subskate, and is supposed to be "the best underwater skateboard"...we tried this sucker on the beach and we aren't exactly friends with it anymore...not that we ever were, but there is nothing you can do about crazy cheap toys that advertise for big money but never work. It's ok, though, cuz we both got boogey boards and the thing makes you float in the kiddie pool :)

He had a great birthday and we're glad he's so wonderful. Have a fun time being double digits!

The Happiest Christmas Present Ever

This year, after a trip to Utah, Disneyworld and a promise that we were not going to get a lot of things on Christmas, we underwent the most wonderful Christmas present ever...

THE WII!!!!!!! After a lot of begging and asking, Santa Clause gave us a wonderful Wii gift that everyone became extrememly addicted to. With two controllers, three or four games, two numbchucks for the boxing section of the game, we became a family of seven, with our new Wii addition.
