Emma’s Baptism

Emma had an amazing baptism (as you can see with all the family members and everything) , and we are so grateful to everyone that came! Thank you so much!

Prom!

We already have enough of these on Facebook, but here it is...

The dress that caused a lot of drama (apparently I don't fit into the smallest size at Nordstrom...what is this?)  I guess we're to blame for buying a prom dress online, but it ended up working out.

Since the boys in our group couldn't rent a limo or van in time, they decided to use Connor's motor home as transportation and got it all decked out... I got a lot of comments at school about "The Mood Setter" :)

It was so much fun! We had an amazing time! Prom as at the Capitol Building, so it was absolutely stunning and so beautiful and enormous.  Ah! I wish prom could be every weekend!

Emma is 8!

I can't decide if it's sinful or not to post her Baptism pictures before the big day, and especially before my mom has had a chance to look at them... but on the contrary, it was fun to get my little sister all dolled up for her baptism pictures.  

I remember the day I was baptized when I told my mom, "I'll be sixteen when this baby is eight, so can I drive her to her baptism?"  And both my mom and I have not forgotten that, so I am very excited!

 

Today is Emma's birthday.  We took these last night. 

 Baptism is May 5, 2012.

 Although Emma was kind of a pill, they turned out great.  We love you Emma Elizabeth, and we're so proud of your decision to be baptized!

Isabel, 3 (almost)

She’s my cute baby. And I love her so so so very much… since she’s almost three, I got far too anxious and posted these ahead of time.  Isabel is darling, I’ll post more later, but I just love her so much and needed to see her face on our blog. Ah!

Izzie-isms:

*lays face on her hand, sighs* “Mom, you are killing me.”

“I’m pretty, I’m smart, and…I’m a princess!”

“Will you play with me?” *most innocent, sweet face ever*

I need to write down more, there’s tons but I’m forgetting them. Ah, I just love this girl!

Prom is Coming!

Over 300 balloons piled up in my room… no walking or moving space. It’s quite an adventure!



Connor and some of his siblings and the rest of the neighborhood hastily, worriedly shoving balloons through my basement window, and my house. Yep, it took a whole trailer to load these bad boys.
Of course I said yes! You don’t go through this much work for nothing… Matisse, Sierra, and I snuck into his room while he was at work and hung circled glow sticks of all shapes and sizes with yarn from the ceiling. We slaved over hot gluing the words “yes” out of them and put the letters right over his bed with a sign on his door that said, “I’d love to GLOW to prom with you!”

Prom is May 4th, and we totally pulled one over and bought a dress online (yes, that’s what we do best, isn’t it?) It’ll be exciting! First prom ever! :D
