BIG announcement...

This is long overdue. Let's start off by saying, "Emma needs a real life baby doll". So she is going to get one. . . on May 17th, 2009! Woo hoo! WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY! That's right. . .and when I said long overdue I was totally serious. She is 19 weeks and 6 days! I know, I know. . . Practically the halfway mark, and just now saying that we have another baby on the way is no fun, is it? Too bad it's spoiled and EVERYONE already knows :(

But oh well! WE can still manage. So today we went and got the ultrasound to tell if it's a girl or a boy...

(Scroll down...)

This is what happened.........

We got in......

Waited for a few minutes.......

Started the ultrasound.....

and then.....

FOUND OUT........

that.............

People at the office were freaking out, since they had a mega streak of boys lately. As in, 95%. Wow. We felt pretty darn lucky! I was sure that she was having a boy- but of course I wanted a sister. And then Emma just wanted a real life baby doll. Tal and Ethan wanted a boy, of course, and my parents didn't care. We just. . . don't want another Emma (and by that we mean Emma's behaivor). Anyway, everything looks great. The heartbeat and all that is doing well. No notified problems yet. So it sounds like we are going to have a healthy baby girl due in May!

woo hoo!!

I can't emphasize too much as to say that ever since summer, Reyna and I's modeling career has gone in every direction ;) I say it's worth the time and effort and enjoy it quite a bit. So....dun-dun-dun-DUUUUUN!!!!! Here we are! :)

Photoshoot Preview

After much reasoning, Reyna and I agree that for our Photoshoot, these two pictures were the best to show off the new Louis Vuitton wallet that I got as a birthday present from her in China. We have many more modeling pictures that we are going to share with you soon! But these two were our favorites and bound to go on the cover of "CosmoFreak". If you have any name suggestions for other magazine covers, LET US KNOW. This is way too much fun... Reyna showing off her flair. We took these pictures with my new camera then digitally edited them :) Such a fun experience! We played around for a few minutes, then got to business realizing the new effects that we had in our power. A&R no more... this time, it's Reyddie. Together, Reyddie can do ANYTHING!
Haha, yes, this picture is purposely blurry :) The picture was taken before I could smile, but it was so perfectly set that we decided to use it, and cover up my distressed look with our computer powers.

Happy Birthday to ME!

Okay so they most special day of the year came around. The holiday season opened it's doors to the newly approved teenager . . .ME! Being 13 is beyond the excitement I can bear- being in the midst of parties, cell phones, clothes, and all that cooky teenager crap (I will admit this gate opened its doors to a pretty good girl). I think that the bearing of my age is going to be a good one. But let's start off with the festivities.

When you wake up on your birthday, you are spazzing and screaming and just having the time of your life thinking about your friends at school and their reaction. That is one way to describe a day. But why walk into school waiting for the compliments when you can just run into the school with a huge grin screaming, "I GOT A CELL PHONE!!!" to everyone - even strangers - in your pathway. I like to do things that way. But... in order to run in screaming that particular sentence, you need a phone first.

So, I opened my gifts not being able to BEAR the excitement (I knew I was getting a phone . . . sort of) so I was not under control. My mom had me thinking I wasn't going to get a phone but in my mind I knew EXACTLY what I was getting. I got a cute jacket from China and this one sweat from Forever 21 that my mom got me. Thanks mom and dad! But the cell phone was the thriller. It lay charging in its charger until I started texting - part of the "unlimited" deal. Oh the thought of a phone is great, but HAVING one. . . that is even better!

So I went to school, partied hard, and had a great day with my friends and my cute new locker decor and all that crazy fun stuff. Until . . . someone spilled the beans. I am not telling WHICH beans. You will soon find out.

It was getting late and I decided to curl my hair. Why? Oh . . . because.

My friend called me and said "I have a gift for you. My mom is gone, so I can't drive over. Can you come get it?" So I agreed. We went over to her house and I heard noise - lots of noise. I opened the door, went into the basement and.......

surprise!!!!!

Thanks, Ty, my dear for SPILLING THE BEANS. So I put on my bests surprised face and went on with THE BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER. My whole school came - well, you know what I mean by that. And everyone was partying like crazy. we had White Elephant, good food, a chocolate fountain (which certain guests covered their faces in . . . on purpose, to prove a point: NEVER bring limitless amounts of chocolate to a party of hyper teens and tweens) it was SO FUN!!! I am so grateful for birthdays.

Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday. Thanks! I love you!

PS my bday was on Friday :-)

It's Holiday Time!

Please don't get mad at me for being festive about the holidays! Last year, I went all out in introducing our traditions! This year, I am just going to express some thought about Christmas!
First of all, the craziness, but absolute fun, that is involved in this holiday is...
Black Friday--in my vocabulary, Black Friday is very... black. As in sort of evil. Every year the craziness percentage gets higher and higher. And since million less people came this year, due to a crappy economy, I think that people expected to get more and more gifts and wacky Christmas stuff for less. I mean, 3 people were killed guys! Trampled! PEOPLE!!
Psycho Christmas Concerts
These are the killers, but sometimes fun. Little town resorts put on plays and cute musicals and kid-friendly shows. Your middle school has a big Christmas Concert. The town mens choir you didn't know existed is singing at the High School next Friday. Oh! And you know that little theatre downtown? Yeah, they are doing How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Can't miss that!
Lights Shows
I LOVE these! We went tonight with Scott and Suzanne and their family (along with Cami Searle, our cousin, Ali and Steve's daughter) to Thanksgiving Point to see the lights show. We hopped in the back of the truck and went through. After we were done, we skidded off to JCW's (a family favorite) and hit the road back home. It was great and our spot in line was actually pretty good (the wait was at the most, two minutes). Pretty worth it.
Shopping Deals
I don't mean Black Friday. I am talking about at the True Knit place that you go to in the middle of December because your mittens are old and torn and you need a new pair and they give you buy one pair get one pair free. You need six pairs anyway, so you pay for three! Heck ya! On with the shopping deals!
The Set-Up
I love this part. The anticipation for almost or more than 365 days and it's finally here - setup day. The tree is up, the lights go on, the ornaments fly trough the branches of your new beautiful Christmas tree, and all of your extra and truly just-so-cute-you-can't-take-it-down wooden snowman figures. Oh and the nativity set you got as a wedding present from who knows who! Don't leave that out! And, if you're cool unlike we are, the lights outside that you border your house with! If you can do that, you are WAY cool!
Family Parties/General Parties/Work Parties
The cheesey, Voice Male work parties at fancy hotels downtown that only children 18 and older are permitted at, or the neighborhood grandfather's party that just happens to have a hired and decorated Santa Clause at. Not to mention your family party that you can't miss. You are exchanging gifts, for heavens sake! Go, go, go!
Family and Friends
I can use family time around the holidays. They are way special!
Gifts
Hehe. Gifts are an important part of Christmas. Mostly giving them, though. When you give, you receive. It's wonderful to recieve, but better to give. Buying gifts is a pain in the rear!
Nativity and Scripture Story
The true light of Christmas is the light that shines from inside you when you read the scripture story. Without Christ's birth, the world would be a much much much worse off place. That is the true meaning of Christmas...
