Mission Call!

Grandma and Grandpa McGhie got their mission call on Wednesday. Despite the cameras cut-offs, it was really nice to see everyone - especially Grandma and Grandpa. They got called to the Nauvoo, Illinois mission to serve in the Visitors Center. They are supposed to leave on March 17th, 2008 - we are so proud of them! They'll be gone for 18 months, but that is much better than two whole years :)

We know they'll serve the Lord with dignity and pride and bring home the Gold.

We love you!

It was so much fun to have you on the screen while they opened the call. Almost like being there. When they come home you'll be there in person!!

Hi Lisa,
I just took a peak at your blog. What an adorable family you have. They are growing up ....fast! So exciting for your parents to serve in Nauvoo. They will be wonderful missionaries. Your dad will keep things lively with his great sense of humor, and your mom will keep things running smoothly with her great sense of accomplishment.
You and your siblings do come from goodly parents! I hope Spring is on its way! Happy Easter!
