Oak Ridge Boys Concert!!!!!

Chad and Michele told my parents they were going to a charity dinner or someting (which they were, no doutb!!!!) when they took them to an Oak Ridge Boys Concert, which, being me, is sorta scary :)
Emma and I think the guy with the long beard is a Dumbledoor Cowboy. . .no shock there!!!
I guess they had fun because they were talking about it forever! Sorry this is the only pic we got. . .it's lame and blurry but hey it's evidence. Mom is with Snape and Dumbledoor right there, and Dad is taking the pic becuase he isn't going to put his arm around an ORB.
Thanks, Lewis fam!!!!

Miss 'Em Already

These are the neighborhood troopers we left behind in our previous state (gotta love baseball if you're in our front yard!!!) Kristen got the picture, and I've gotta say "it's intelligent!" . . .from L-R = Jason, Sachin, Jahmal, Tal, Ethan, Peter, and Andrew. They are the neighborhood people that were invovled in the front yard homerun derby that meant that you had to hit that HR target via the next-door neighbors windows :)

Gotta love 'em!

YA for Me!!!

I made it to the U13 Triple A soccer team! I am so happy becuase I am doig a week-long camp (stressful!!!) from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM, sometimes to 4:00 PM becuase we do after-camp activities. It's so painful, and SO hard. We are going to Boondocks tomorrow as a group. Today camp was fun. We scrimaged the U15 team, and they are WAY worse than we are. They needed an extra foot today, so I was traded to their team. Let's just say I won every game for them, becuase they don't know how to play at all. It's harder than it sounds. They are literally not passing the ball to me after two or three goals. But today, I was playing soccer from 8:00 AM, to 8:00 PM. That's a workout. . .I am so tired. But I am excited to be on the team becuase the girls are nice and I am already working as a partner with Gabi (one of the girls on the team). We have sixteen girls, two coaches, and tons of practices. We're all really good. It' s awesome to be on a soccer team with a bunch of little pro athletes . . . Utah is a lot bigger than I thought!!! :)

Oh, Great, I've Been Tagged!

I've been tagged...so here goes:

What were you doing ten years ago: I was two. We were living in a piece of junk in Nebraska, as we had JUST moved from our tiny little shack in Utah to Village Green(city of horrible weather), and Talmage just entered my life. It was awesome in some ways, but we had to share a room and he was the worst sleeper ever.

What I was doing five years ago: I was seven and a half. I can't remember where we were leaving. Oh, yea, Holladay, Utah. Oh, gee, that was the best we ever lived no joke (actually, the house in AZ was better, but whatever...). That year I turned eight and was baptized, and Ethan was a two years old and we found out that we were going to have another sister in nine months via Emma.

What I was doing one year ago: I was in Utah, thinking that this week was probably around the week we went to Seven Peaks (or, as wonderful Sage puts it, "Seven Pigs") and we were jumping on the tramp in the backyard, or having a baby shower for someone. Maybe it was Lake Powell week, or maybe I was tubing the wake with Audrey and Dallin. But it was the Summer of Dreams last year (the best so far) and it's getting better...you just wait.

What I was doing yesturday: Scott and Suzanne took my mom and dad to the temple and I was lucky enough to baby-sit for the sake of flower clips (which I adore, thanks to Suzanne for making them AND Mandy for giving them the idea...I think it was Mandy). they left me in charge of Ethan, Emma, Talmage, Sam, Max, Rachel, and me, which was totally fun and totally worth it. Afterwards, I went to Audrey's. We were goign to go boating, but then we decided not to and we baby-sat (I never get enough appearently) for the cutest threesome at Ali's softball game. We got to take care of a cute little three-month-old baby named Lexie. Afterwards, we went to Maggie Moo's and got Udderly Cream with Reese's Peanut Butter cups in them (SO good, totally recommend) and then went back home. I also went to the AF Reck Center with Audrey and her cousins, Lexie and Shelby, and then we went home to Audrey's (MY second home, sorry). We watched Camp Rock with Lexie, Shelby, Audrey and their cousins Britney and Tiffany and then we had a sleepover inside (just me, Audrey, Lexie). It was awesome!

California (Screamin')

Emma and Rachel in Seaworld . After all the walking, though, these two tired ladies got to sit down and relax. It was such a thrill to go to California with the entire rally we call the Lamb Fam...be prepared for more pictures and more shirts...
Group Pic...(there's a lot of us) Nobody really counted, but this is the troupe that came to Cali. Thanks Lizzy and Chris (Chris, thanks for teaching my how to surf...that was the best EVER). Lizzy made this possible. Everyone who came had a great time and those who didn't we're sorry you couldn't come but we'll see you in two years (hopefully less...). It was great. Totally worth the thirty-six-hour drive (for us...)
Emma and Olivia "diggin' around"... Emma refused to get into the water, so most of the youngers spent time in the black sand on the beach, which was still way too much fun. Building sand castles, "brigades", and digging for sand crabs and seashells . . .nobody got hurt on the rocks (that's a blessing, honestly).
Family picture (black&white) Us on the rocks, courtesy to Suzanne, since our camera is pretty much AWFUL. But the cool shirts (I warned you, did I not?) and the high, scary. heavy rocks made this vaca the best.
(Back-Front, L-R) Chris, Lisa, Scott, Sam, Rob, Tal, Max . Those brave enough to take on the Journey to Atlantis...of course I went, don't be silly!!! You cannot walk out of Seaworld without being driven onto that ride, with the family we're in ;)
Me on the boogey board - Oceanside, California . I also took a surfing ride with cousin Audrey (below) and other cousins, Talmage (brother), Dallyn, and Zach. But the mastermind behind all this, of course, was Chris. Couldn't have done it without him!!
Addie and Audrey (best of cuzins!!) We spent time together twenty-four seven and we spent every night on the far couch by the big window, woke up together to see the dolphins and six am EVERY MORNING, and we spent every boogie boarding wave together. If that's not best of cuzins, I don't know what is. :-)
Ethan and Seth (classic...) These little troopers were elected captains on a beachfront baseball game right after the family pictures. Seth and Ethan are two years apart, btw. But they are so cute together and this picture just HAD to be taken, while the little pros worked it out on the hard sand before high tide. Go, team!
Cuzin picture on the pier (about a mile, maybe a tad more, away from our beach house) It was great to walk to the pier. all the kids were enjoying the people all around catching squid, fish, and tiny makarel, ect and people all around were going "whoa, nice big family you got there". We'd laugh and say, "this isn't even one-fourth!" But hey seeing dolphins up close and personal was pretty AWESOME.
Walk to the pier (Emma, Lisa, and Rob) Totally the best California vacation you could ask for. Nothing better than some realy-big-family quality time on the beach. Nice and cozy, and totally fun!Walking to the peir was great, though, because it was a Hollister-town city and everything was what you'd imagine. Way to go, Lizzy, for the awesome vaca!!!! Do it again in two years, PLEASE.

California...and pretty much screaming!!!! It was a totally wicked awesome vaca for the Lamb fam, thanks ONE MILLION PERCENT to Lizzy Rigby for the FABULOUS reunion. She worked so hard to make it great, and IT WAS. Everyone enjoyed the pics, the boogey boarding, the dolphins every morning, and places to sleep...EVERYWHERE. It was great. Pictures are courtesy to Suzanne, and her Magical Camera. We also went to Seaworld, and a chunk of us went to the USS Midway.

Mom's faves...

Although rivals, they are lifesavers and know how to carry a bargain...think about it. Where would we be without 'em??????????? :)

Could possibly live off of these. . .

I am not kidding, they are just so delicious . . . any kind of nutty chocolate will suit me and my mom just fine! I am referably a chocoholic - call me crazy - but I cannot go a day without it. Hershey's, without you, I would indeed be different. That's a sure fact . . .

And . . .we're there!

Finally, after a thirty-six hour drive from one coast to the other, we have finally rested in California. I am so tired, but whatever. It's getting better. And you can't say we didn't cross over nine states this summer for once, and we are on our way to moving here (not Cali, another state). As we move along with this vacation, we'll be posting pics of us in California, Salt Lake Lake Powell, Oceanside, and we've got a bucketload of Nauvoo. So stay tuned for more, folks!

Love from,
Addison
